Tata Motors
has launched the much-anticipated facelifted version of the Altroz hatchback in India, with introductory prices starting from ₹6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The refreshed model not only brings visual and feature enhancements but also offers multiple powertrain choices to suit varying customer needs. This makes the Altroz facelift a more versatile and competitive offering in the premium hatchback segment.
The 2025 Altroz facelift is available with three fuel options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a 1.2-litre petrol-CNG dual-fuel setup. Customers can also choose from three different transmission options, including a five-speed manual, an AMT (automated manual transmission), and a six-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCA). This diverse lineup allows buyers to pick a configuration that aligns with their driving preferences and fuel economy expectations.
When it comes to mileage, Tata Motors claims that the CNG variant of the Altroz delivers an impressive 26.90 km/kg, making it an economical choice for daily commutes. The diesel variant follows closely behind with a claimed mileage of 23.60 km/l. Both these high-efficiency options are paired exclusively with a five-speed manual transmission, reinforcing their appeal among cost-conscious buyers seeking optimal fuel savings without compromising on performance.
The Altroz facelift is offered in a wide range of variants, including Smart, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S. This extensive variant spread ensures that buyers have access to a suitable feature set across different price points. In addition to this, Tata offers five vibrant exterior colour options: Pristine White, Pure Grey, Royal Blue, Ember Glow, and Dune Glow. Higher variants also get the option of a stylish dual-tone finish with a blacked-out roof, adding a sporty edge to the premium hatchback’s appearance.
With the Altroz facelift, Tata Motors aims to strengthen its position in the competitive hatchback market by offering an attractive blend of performance, style, and efficiency. The model caters to a wide spectrum of users, from daily urban commuters to mileage-focused long-distance drivers.
